12460
Multiquip 12460 Cable Pitch Assembly 26.38" HT Vanguard - OEM Replacement Part

This cable pitch assembly provides precise blade pitch control for Multiquip ride-on trowels, allowing operators to adjust blade angle for optimal concrete finishing results. The 26.38-inch height configuration is specifically engineered for Vanguard-powered trowel systems, ensuring proper synchronization between pitch controls and trowel arm movement.

Proper pitch adjustment is critical for achieving even blade wear and preventing common finishing issues. According to Multiquip maintenance procedures, uneven blade wear, where one blade appears completely worn while others look new, or perceptible rolling and bouncing motion during operation often indicates pitch adjustment problems. The trowel guard ring rocking up and down relative to the ground or pitch control towers rocking back and forth are additional symptoms requiring attention. This cable assembly works with the blade pitch adjustment system to maintain consistent blade angles across all trowel arms, measured at the spider assembly.

On Quick Pitch™ and Twin Pitch™ equipped models, this cable assembly enables synchronized blade pitch control between dual blade sets, allowing adjustment while the trowel is stopped or moving. Field adjustment using proper trowel arm tools (P/N 9177) ensures all arms maintain uniform pitch for smooth, fluid rotation and professional concrete finishing.

Compatible Models:

HTNS5S-2

Genuine Multiquip OEM part, sold by an authorized dealer.
