21614
Multiquip 21614 Rod End 5/16-24 Male - OEM Replacement Part

This rod end functions as part of the turnbuckle assembly that controls trowel speed adjustment on Multiquip ride-on power trowels. Rotating the rod in one direction increases the length and corresponding trowel speed, while rotating it the opposite direction decreases both length and trowel speed. The rod is used to synchronize left and right trowel speeds to within 3 rpm of each other. A proper starting adjustment ensures both trowels begin to rotate simultaneously when the foot pedal is slowly depressed, bringing speeds close enough for field use when instrumentation is unavailable.

Note: This part has been superseded by part number 1723.

Compatible with the following Multiquip models:

HTX-44K4

STX55J6

Genuine Multiquip OEM part, sold by an authorized dealer.
