The arm features a round shaft section, hexagonal (hex) shaft section, lever mounting slot, roll pin hole, three blade attachment bolt holes, and a flat on the hexagonal shaft (top of arm). Proper trowel arm adjustment is critical - arms must be checked for evenness using a flat test surface with feeler gauges (.004 in. \/ 0.10 mm and .005 in. \/ 0.127 mm). If the trowel arm is found to be uneven or bent, it must be replaced.
