The fitting accepts 1 to 1½ shots of multipurpose grade grease or Lithium 12-based grease conforming to NLGI Grade #2 consistency. The 45-degree angle and extended length allow grease gun access in tight mounting locations on the spider assembly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBefore each lubrication, remove the zerk fitting cap and wipe the fitting clean to prevent abrasive material from entering during greasing.
