A failed foot switch or its associated wiring will cause the circuit to read incorrectly in either state. Per Wacker Neuson service procedure, the switch is tested with circuit breaker 1 in the ON position and the control panel open, stepping on and off the switch while measuring resistance at the main terminal strip.
