This oil seal prevents hydraulic fluid leakage in the exciter system of Multiquip reversible plate compactors, maintaining proper hydraulic pressure for efficient compaction performance. The hydraulic system in these plate compactors requires initial oil change at 200 hours, then every 1,000 hours thereafter. During maintenance, inspect this oil seal for wear, cracking, or fluid seepage.
