Multiquip 1062340211 Piston .25 Oversize - OEM Replacement Part for Rammers

This oversized piston restores proper compression and engine performance in worn Multiquip MTR-80L tamping rammer engines. The .25mm oversize dimension compensates for cylinder wear, allowing technicians to rebuild engines with scored or out-of-tolerance cylinders without replacing the entire engine assembly. Critical for maintaining the MTR-80L's 2,850 lbs per blow impact force and 650 blows per minute operating specification.

The MTR-80L rammer is powered by a Robin EC-10G air-cooled four-cycle gasoline engine that drives an automatic centrifugal clutch system. When piston ring seal deteriorates, operators will notice reduced tamping force, difficulty starting, excessive blow-by, and decreased fuel efficiency. This oversize piston requires cylinder honing or boring to .25mm over standard specification to achieve proper piston-to-wall clearance and restore engine compression.
