Multiquip 1226285 Infrared Sensor V1 - OEM Replacement Part

The infrared sensor enables safe remote operation of trench rollers by detecting the operator's position within the safety zone and controlling startup procedures. This Version 1 sensor is specifically calibrated for serial numbers 5570000-5571999 and works in conjunction with the infrared transmitter to manage the pre-heating indicator lamp and prevent unauthorized starts when the operator is outside the designated range.

During normal operation, the sensor monitors the operator's distance from the roller, maintaining a minimum proximity range of 8 feet and maximum infrared range of approximately 60 feet. The shutdown bar indicator lamp will blink if the operator is too close, while the pre-heating indicator lamp confirms proper signal reception when the start switch is held on the infrared transmitter. If the pre-heating indicator lamp fails to illuminate or the machine can only be started via ignition with no remote functionality, the infrared sensors P1 or P2 may require inspection or replacement.

This sensor is a critical safety component for remote-controlled operation modes on RX1575 trench rollers.
