Multiquip 1242221 Tank Sensor - OEM Replacement Part for Trench Rollers

The tank sensor monitors fluid levels in the hydraulic or fuel system of trench rollers, providing critical data to the machine controller and display unit to prevent operation with insufficient fluids. This sensor integrates with the RX1575's diagnostic system, feeding information to the N2 Display Unit (P/N 1226581) which monitors multiple system parameters including oil pressure, water temperature, and fluid levels.

In the RX1575 electrical system, sensor data is processed by the machine controller (P/N 1226284, 1414301, or 1449282 depending on serial number) to trigger warning lamps H3 through H6 when system parameters fall outside normal operating ranges. The sensor works in conjunction with other monitoring components like the S21 oil pressure switch and S22 water temperature switch to provide comprehensive system diagnostics. Proper sensor function is essential for preventing damage from low fluid conditions, particularly in the hydraulic system which operates at pressures up to 220 ± 10 bar for vibration and 67 ± 8 bar for M2 steering.
