This hydraulic hose delivers pressurized hydraulic fluid to critical control systems on Multiquip vibratory rollers, ensuring precise operation of steering, vibration, and drive functions. When hydraulic hoses fail, operators experience loss of control, fluid leaks, and potential system contamination that can damage pumps and actuators.

The RX1575 service manual specifies critical compatibility requirements for hydraulic hose replacement. On rollers operating with synthetic ester HE hydraulic oils, only hoses declared by the supplier as compatible with synthetic esters may be used, as standard hydraulic tubes will decompose when exposed to biodegradable oils. The manual explicitly prohibits converting used rollers to biodegradable hydraulic oils due to this incompatibility risk. During installation on the RX1575, hydraulic hoses 018 (A3) and 002 (P) connect to the magnetic coil assembly after O-ring installation and knurled nut tightening.
