This 0.50mm oversize piston ring set restores compression and engine performance in EC12D two-stroke gasoline engines used in Multiquip tamping rammers. When an engine shows signs of reduced power, excessive smoke, or difficult starting, worn piston rings are often the culprit. This oversize ring set is machined for engines that have been bored 0.50mm over standard specification during rebuild procedures.

The EC12D engine, also known as the Robin EC-12G, is an air-cooled 2-stroke gasoline engine with 6.96 cubic inch (114cc) displacement producing 4.5 hp at 4,000 rpm. These engines power rammers designed to deliver 690 impacts per minute at optimum operating speed.
