This assembly is designed for the Robin EC12-G air-cooled 2-stroke engine (114cc, 4.5 hp) used in Multiquip/Mikasa rammer applications. The system features a dual-element design with an outer primary sponge element and inner secondary element. According to Multiquip service specifications, daily inspection and cleaning is required when operating in dusty conditions. Maintenance procedure involves cleaning the outer element with kerosene, then dipping in a 3:1 gasoline-to-engine oil mixture before squeezing tightly and shaking off excess. The inner secondary element should be shaken clean and inspected for damage.
