Multiquip 1643014 Tapered Roller Bearing - OEM Replacement Part

This tapered roller bearing is a critical component in the swinging joint assembly of trench rollers, supporting the articulated frame connection and enabling smooth pivoting motion under heavy loads. The bearing is housed within the support frame and requires specialized removal tools and procedures, including a press for extraction from the binding ring and proper spacing when removing from the bearing pin.

According to Multiquip service procedures, this bearing should be regreased during maintenance with 100g of Castrol Longtime PD2 or compatible extreme pressure grease for long-term lubrication. During installation, blue adhesive must be applied to threaded holes and M6x20 Allen screws to ensure proper retention. The bearing removal process requires M12x100 screws with approximately 20mm spacers due to limited clearance, and the chassis must be properly supported with squared wood during swivel bearing service.
