Multiquip 1882 Spindle Clutch Assembly 4" Bore 1" - OEM Replacement Part

This spindle clutch assembly with 4-inch bore and 1-inch specification transmits power from the engine to the trowel spider assembly, engaging and disengaging blade rotation during concrete finishing operations. The clutch mechanism allows operators to control rotor engagement while maintaining engine operation, essential for precise finishing control on walk-behind and ride-on power trowels.

The spindle clutch works in conjunction with the belt drive system enclosed within the belt guard assembly. During operation, the clutch engages the spider assembly which contains the trowel arms and blades that rotate at variable speeds depending on the finishing stage. Proper clutch function is critical for smooth engagement and preventing shock loads to the drive system.
