This ballast transformer powers the four 1,000-watt metal halide lamps on Multiquip LT12 series light towers, converting line voltage to the high voltage required for proper lamp ignition and operation. The 60 Hz ballast is engineered specifically for the LT12 series four-lamp metal halide lighting systems that deliver 440,000 lumens and cover 5 to 7 acres.
