This right-hand gearbox assembly with integrated fan is a critical drive component for ride-on power trowels, delivering power from the engine to the trowel blades for concrete floating and finishing operations. The JWN Series utilizes two separate gearbox assemblies in an enclosed design for maximum durability. During operation, the main output shaft must run straight within 0.003 inch (0.08 mm) tolerance at the spider attachment point to prevent perceptible rolling motion. The gearbox requires Chevron Cetus HiPerSYN 460 oil and should be regularly inspected for oil level and shaft straightness as part of routine maintenance procedures.
