Multiquip 20353 Gearbox 1-1/8 Shaft JWN - OEM Replacement Part

This gearbox assembly is a critical drive component for JWN Series ride-on power trowels, transmitting power from the engine to the trowel arms for floating and finishing concrete slabs. The JWN Series utilizes two separate gearbox assemblies enclosed in rugged cast aluminum gear cases with large oil capacity for optimum lubrication of critical components.

During operation, the main output shaft of this gearbox must be checked for straightness and cannot exceed 0.003 inch (0.08 mm) out of round at the spider attachment point. A perceptible rolling motion while running can indicate main shaft issues requiring gearbox replacement. The cast aluminum housing provides durability while maintaining proper gear oil levels ensures reliable performance during demanding concrete finishing operations.
