This left-side trowel blade arm mounts directly to the spider plate assembly and holds the trowel blades at the precise angle needed for smooth concrete finishing. When trowel arms become bent from striking rebar or forms, or when bronze bushings wear out-of-round, blade wear becomes uneven and the machine develops a rolling or bouncing motion during operation. This genuine OEM arm is designed to maintain the critical .010-inch adjustment tolerance specified in Multiquip's trowel arm adjustment procedure.

Each arm attaches to the spider plate with a Zerk grease fitting and must be checked for straightness using the flat test method—a .004-inch feeler gauge should not pass between any of the six hex flats and a test surface along the arm's length. The arm includes mounting points for three hex head bolts that secure the trowel blades, and it works with Multiquip's trowel arm adjustment tool (P/N 9177) to ensure all arms are consistently pitched for flat, even finishing. Regular inspection should include checking the bronze bushing for wear and examining all six sides of the hex section for concrete buildup or damage.
