Multiquip 23447 Clutch Upgrade Kit - OEM Replacement Part for HHX Ride-On Trowels

This clutch upgrade kit replaces the discontinued old-style Hoffco Comet CVT clutch system with the new Multi-Clutch drive assembly on HHX series ride-on trowels. The original Comet clutch components are no longer available, and this complete conversion kit is required for clutch replacement on machines with the old-style drive system. Multi-Clutch components are not interchangeable with the prior Hoffco Comet drive system, so the entire CVT system must be replaced to ensure compatibility.

The kit includes all necessary components to upgrade to the new Multi-Clutch system, along with installation instruction sheet P/N 23448 for proper drive assembly installation. This upgrade is mandatory for HHXD5 and HHXG5 trowels originally equipped with the old-style clutch when clutch replacement or repair is needed. The new drive assembly provides improved reliability and serviceability compared to the discontinued Comet system.
