This handle assembly provides the operator interface and blade depth control mechanism for the SP1E16A walk-behind pavement saw. The 1-inch diameter handlebar design offers comfortable grip positions for maneuvering the saw during concrete and asphalt cutting operations, while reducing operator fatigue during extended use. The integrated handle lock mechanism secures the blade depth adjuster in position, ensuring consistent cutting depth throughout the operation.

The SP1E16A is engineered to minimize vibration transfer through its reinforced steel frame, and this handle assembly is critical to that system. Worn or damaged hand grips compromise operator control and should be replaced immediately. The handle design accommodates the cutting depth adjuster crank, which uses an ACME thread assembly to raise and lower the blade for depths appropriate to 12-16 inch diamond blades on the 1-inch arbor blade shaft.
