This oversize piston provides a precision-engineered solution for restoring compression and performance in worn EH09 series engine cylinders. Manufactured 0.25mm larger than standard bore specifications, this piston is designed for engines that have been rebored to accommodate cylinder wear, extending engine life and maintaining optimal power output in tamping rammer applications.

The EH09 series engines power Multiquip's MT55F and MTR40F rammers, delivering 2.4 HP at 3,600 RPM through a 5.24 cubic inch (86cc) displacement. These air-cooled, 4-stroke OHV horizontal shaft engines feature a 2.01" x 1.65" (51mm x 42mm) bore and stroke configuration. When compression loss, excessive oil consumption, or blow-by occurs due to piston-to-cylinder wear, reboring the cylinder and installing this oversize piston restores proper clearances and sealing. The 0.25mm oversize specification allows for one standard rebore increment, maintaining factory performance standards while accommodating measured cylinder wear.
