Multiquip 28423401H3 Piston EH09 - OEM Replacement Part for Rammers

This piston assembly is a critical engine component for the Robin EH09 series engines used in Multiquip tamping rammers. The piston works within the 2.01-inch bore cylinder to generate the 2.4 horsepower output needed to drive the centrifugal clutch and create the powerful compacting force these rammers are known for. In the MT55F application, this engine delivers 1,650-2,250 lbs. per blow at 600-695 blows per minute, making the piston one of the highest-stressed components in the system.

The EH09 series engines use an air-cooled 4-stroke, single cylinder, OHV design with a displacement of 5.24 cubic inches (86cc) and a stroke of 1.65 inches. Regular inspection of piston condition is essential during routine maintenance, particularly when servicing the 0.79-gallon oil capacity lubrication system.
