Multiquip 2842351207 Piston Ring Set 0.25 Oversize - OEM Replacement Part

This oversized piston ring set restores compression and engine performance in Multiquip rammer engines experiencing blow-by, excessive oil consumption, or loss of power. Designed as a 0.25mm oversize replacement, this ring set is used when the cylinder bore has been machined to accommodate worn piston clearances, a common rebuild procedure for high-hour rammer engines.

The piston ring assembly maintains critical compression sealing in the air-cooled 4-stroke engines that power Multiquip's MTR series rammers. These engines operate at 3,600 RPM under severe vibration and impact loads, generating 1,650-2,250 lbs. of impact force at 600-695 blows per minute. Worn piston rings lead to hard starting, reduced impact force, increased fuel consumption, and contamination of the oil bath lubrication system used in the rammer gearbox and spring cylinder.
