The bottom tower assembly forms the critical base structure of the mast system on Multiquip light towers, providing the foundation for the entire mast extension and rotation mechanism. This assembly houses the mast rotation locking system and supports the cable/hand winch system that raises and extends the tower to its maximum height. Designed for serial number 903838 and up, this component is essential when the lower mast structure has sustained damage, shows wear at mounting points, or when the rotation locking mechanism fails to secure properly.

The bottom tower section integrates with the mast extension winch system and cradle lock assembly, which work together to extend the mast and secure it during transport.
