The foot is the critical contact surface component on tamping rammers, featuring a laminated wood construction with a heat-treated steel plate that provides superior shock absorption during soil compaction operations. This 11-3/4" x 13-1/2" (300 x 345 mm) foot assembly delivers the MTR-80L's full 2,850 lbs. of impact force per blow at 650 blows per minute to compact soil in confined areas, trenches, and backfill applications.
