Multiquip 30331 Winch Assembly Fresno Handle Mount - OEM Replacement Part

This winch assembly mounts to the handle of PRO Series walk-behind trowels and controls the raising and lowering of the mechanical boom, fresno blade, and fresno brush. The hand crank winch operates via a counterclockwise rotation to raise the boom and clockwise rotation to lower it onto the troweling surface. This critical component allows operators to adjust boom height without manual lifting, enabling proper positioning of the fresno blade and brush for finishing concrete surfaces.

The winch cable routes from this handle-mounted assembly along the main tube (secured with zip ties) around the engine to the boom cable anchor. During operation, the winch must smoothly raise and lower the boom while supporting the combined weight of the fresno blade, brush, and optional plated weights. The mechanical boom rotates 180° laterally, and the winch maintains precise control throughout this range of motion. Proper winch operation is essential for troweling workflow—operators raise the boom at the end of each troweling path and lower it to resume finishing operations.
