This round-post trailer jack provides 2,000 lb lift capacity for stabilizing and leveling Multiquip light towers during setup and operation. The jack is essential for proper deployment of the tower's outrigger system, which must be fully extended before raising the mast to its operational height of over 25 feet. According to Multiquip setup procedures, the trailer jack works in conjunction with the foot-down jackstands—operators turn the crank handle clockwise to lower and level the light tower on secure, level ground with chock blocks under each wheel to prevent rolling.

The jack mount integrates with the light tower's tie-down points, which are designed to allow even application of force to the front and rear of the equipment during transport.
