The control panel assembly serves as the electrical command center for Multiquip LT6K light towers equipped with Kohler engines, housing critical components including auxiliary output receptacles, engine hour meter, excitation capacitor, and circuit breakers. This integrated assembly manages power distribution to the lighting system and monitors engine operation hours for proper maintenance scheduling.

Located on the control panel side of the light tower cabinet, this assembly works in conjunction with the panel light that automatically illuminates when the cabinet door is raised for service access. The control panel coordinates with the 20-amp circuit breakers that independently control pairs of lights (top/bottom configuration) to provide illumination coverage across 5 to 7 acres. The hour meter tracks engine runtime to ensure maintenance intervals are properly observed on the Tier 4 Kohler 3-cylinder diesel engine.
