This adjustable height 2-inch hitch ball is designed for safe towing and transport of Multiquip light tower equipment rated up to 6,000 lbs. The adjustable height feature allows proper tongue weight distribution and ensures the trailer remains level during transport, which is critical for safe road handling and preventing damage to the mast cradle system during towing.

When towing Multiquip light towers, proper hitch configuration is essential for safety. According to Multiquip specifications, chains must be crossed underneath the hitch and coupler with enough slack to permit turning and to hold the tongue up if the trailer comes loose. The chains should be fastened to the frame of the tow vehicle, not to any part of the hitch unless the hitch has holes or loops specifically for that purpose. Before towing, ensure the mast is locked in the cradle support position with the cradle lock/release pin secured, and all four jackstands (two side and two rear) are properly positioned.
