Multiquip 36526 Strike Tube 8' Assembly - OEM Replacement Part for Roller Screeds

This 8-foot strike tube assembly rotates to level and finish concrete surfaces on hydraulic roller screed systems. The strike tube is driven by a hydraulic motor with variable speed control, rated at 450 rpm at full forward or reverse operation, and is the critical component that transfers smoothness directly into the concrete surface.

The strike tube requires precise adjustment—the inner edge next to the middle bracket must be spaced between 1/16 to 1/8 inch. Gaps less than 1/16 inch will cause the strike tube to bottom out on the splined shaft, while over-adjustment can bend the outer plate. The adjustment nut and jam nut should butt up against the strike tube hub and be tightened securely. Critical maintenance note: never allow anything to rub grooves into the strike tube surface (wiper bars, concrete forms, bolts, etc.), as those grooves will transfer directly into the finished concrete.

The scraper bar should maintain 1/8-inch clearance from the strike tube for optimal performance. Operators can verify proper rotation by moving the control lever slightly forward for clockwise rotation or backward for counter-clockwise direction.
