Multiquip 37685 Flange Assembly 4.5" Outer Blade - OEM Replacement Part

The outer blade flange assembly ensures proper blade mounting, alignment, and secure retention on the blade shaft of walk-behind concrete saws. This 4.5" flange works with the blade shaft pin to prevent blade slippage during operation and maintains the critical equidistant positioning requirement where blade shaft flanges must be positioned within +/- .030" from each side of the saw frame. Proper flange condition is essential for achieving straight, true cuts and preventing excessive blade wobble or cut gap issues.

When troubleshooting blade slippage, excessive wobble, or cuts that aren't straight and true, technicians should inspect the blade shaft and flange assembly for wear or damage that prevents proper blade seating. Worn flanges compromise blade alignment integrity and can cause the blade to slip even when properly pinned to the shaft.
