The chassis frame assembly serves as the structural foundation for the SP118 professional pavement saw, providing the super-rigid steel box frame construction that supports the engine, blade assembly, raise/lower system, and all operational components. This welded steel framework is engineered to withstand the extreme vibration and stress of commercial concrete cutting operations while maintaining precise blade tracking and cut accuracy.

The SP118 chassis frame integrates mounting points for the HONDA GX390 engine, the adjustable anti-vibration handlebar system, the easy-adjusting raise/lower mechanism with positive depth lock, and the over-center lifting bale for safe transportation. The box frame design provides the rigidity necessary to handle diamond blades ranging from 12 to 18 inches in diameter while accommodating both left and right side sawing operations. This frame assembly also houses the manual wheel brake system and supports the water delivery system components.
