Multiquip 38502 Lowering Assembly Over Center - OEM Replacement Part for Concrete Saws

The lowering assembly over center is a critical component of the innovative posi-lock raise/lower system used on Multiquip concrete saws. This precision-engineered assembly provides precise control of blade orientation and allows for infinitely adjustable blade depth control during cutting operations. The over center mechanism ensures the depth control handle locks securely into place, maintaining accurate cutting depth throughout operation and preventing unintended blade movement.

This assembly works in conjunction with the depth control handle, depth adjustment disk, and depth stop rod to form the complete raise/lower system. The posi-lock design is integral to the saw's ability to deliver accurate tracking in the cut and maintain proper blade positioning on the precision-machined, reinforced cast frame. Before performing any adjustment or maintenance on the raise/lower assembly, always ensure the shutdown switch and engine ON/OFF switch are in the OFF position and the blade shaft has completely stopped rotating.
