The clutch assembly transfers engine power to the vibrating plate mechanism in Multiquip plate compactors. When the clutch lining and shoe wear down, operators will notice deficient power transmission, slippage, and weak or lost vibration during normal operation—requiring immediate replacement to restore proper compaction performance.
