Multiquip 416467240 Lock Knob for Wheel Kit - OEM Replacement Part

This lock knob secures the wheel kit in both stowed and deployed positions on Multiquip plate compactors, allowing operators to safely transition between transport and operation modes. The knob works in conjunction with the wheel kit's lock holder system to ensure the wheels stay properly positioned away from the rear of the machine during compaction work, or securely attached to the handle body during transport.

During wheel kit deployment, this lock knob is removed from the handle body and attached to the lock holder hole after the compactor has been tilted and the wheels positioned away from the rear of the machine. This critical component prevents accidental wheel movement during operation of the 207-pound compactor, which generates 3,372 pounds of centrifugal force at 6,000 vibrations per minute. A properly functioning lock knob is essential for safe equipment handling and operator control.
