Multiquip 44147 Roller Assembly Vertical Mast - OEM Replacement Part for Light Towers

This roller assembly guides and supports the vertical mast sections during raising and lowering operations on the LT6KV light tower, ensuring smooth telescoping action as the mast extends over 25 feet. The roller assembly is a critical component of the mast system that works in conjunction with the electric hoist, which is rated for 1,000 operational cycles (3,000 total up and down movements) or three years when cycled three times per day.

Proper roller function is essential for safe mast operation. During mast extension and retraction, the rollers maintain proper alignment of the mast sections while the magnetic raise-lower switches on the outer vertical mast signal the magnetic proximity switches on the vertical mast base to control mast movement. Worn or damaged rollers can cause binding, uneven extension, or premature wear on the mast sections and wire rope assembly.

The mast system must be operated with the area clear of overhead power lines and obstructions. Always ensure outriggers are fully extended and the unit is level before operating the mast controls.
