The rotor assembly is a critical electrical component in the alternator system that generates power for the four 1000-watt metal-halide lamps on Multiquip LT12 series light towers. This rotor works in conjunction with the stator to produce the 110,000 lumens per lamp required to illuminate 5-7 acres of work area. When the rotor fails, symptoms include flickering lights, reduced light output, or complete power failure to the lamp array despite the engine running normally.
The Rotor 130/4 LT-12 is engineered specifically for the demanding conditions of continuous-duty light tower operation, where equipment typically runs for extended periods—up to 64 hours on a full 30-gallon fuel tank. This genuine Multiquip component ensures proper electrical output to maintain consistent illumination across all four lamps mounted on the T-bar assembly.
Compatible with the following Multiquip light tower models:
- LT12D (Deutz F3M1008F and Lombardini LDW 1003 diesel engines)
- LT12DAB (Lombardini LDW 1003 diesel engine)
- LT12D50SA (Lombardini LDW 1003 diesel engine)
- LT12P (Perkins 103-10 diesel engine)
