The control arm is a critical component in the hydraulic directional control system of reversible plate compactors, working in conjunction with the hydraulic pump to regulate oil flow and control the direction of compactor travel. This OEM control arm is engineered for Multiquip's MVH series reversible plate compactors, which are designed for efficient compaction of sand, gravel, and cohesive soils in applications including road construction, embankments, reservoirs, and backfilling for pipeline and cable installation work. The MVH128GH operates at 5,400 vibrations per minute with a travel speed of approximately 89 ft/min (27 meters/minute), while the MVH158GH delivers similar performance with increased compaction force. The hydraulic system uses Shell Terrace Oil #32 or equivalent with a 300cc capacity.
