Multiquip 467355940 Vibrator Breather Cover - OEM Replacement Part

The vibrator breather cover protects the air breather assembly on Multiquip plate compactors, preventing contamination of the vibrator housing while allowing proper ventilation during operation. This component is critical for maintaining proper air circulation within the vibrator system and is often replaced during air breather assembly retrofit installations.

During installation, this cover mounts to the vibrator box and works in conjunction with the air breather tube assembly. The breather system includes a joint 90° L4N8x6 positioned at 45° and a nylon tube assembly that routes through the handle bar column. Installation requires Loctite 565 on joint threads and Loctite 242 on mounting bolts, with the 8x20 mounting bolt torqued to 25.3 ft-lb. The breather tube should be secured to the hydraulic hose with wire ties, allowing adequate slack for handle movement between stowed and operational positions.
