Multiquip 467358220 Tachometer/Hour Meter - OEM Replacement Part

This tachometer/hour meter displays real-time engine RPM and tracks cumulative operating hours on Multiquip reversible plate compactors, providing critical information for maintenance scheduling and monitoring engine performance. The digital display shows "HA" at startup before switching to cumulative hours, and includes audible alerts when engine revolution increases to proper operating speed. This component integrates with the COMPAS II Compaction Analyzing System on compatible models, connecting via wire harness (P/N 467358210) to provide sensor feedback and performance monitoring.

During installation, the cable connects to the acceleration sensor cable (P/N 467352040) and is secured using the existing cable clamp and M8 bolt. The unit wires directly to the engine ground and vibrator system using color-coded connections (black for ground, red for power, white to engine). The tachometer helps operators identify when the compactor achieves appropriate vibrational frequency for effective compaction work, with LED indicators providing visual confirmation of proper operating conditions.
