The eccentric rotor is the heart of your reversible plate compactor's vibration system, spinning at high speed to generate the compaction force that makes soil preparation possible. This critical rotating component creates the consecutive high frequency vibrations—5,200 VPM on these models—that allow the compactor to apply tremendous force to sand, gravel, and cohesive soils. When the eccentric rotor fails or wears, you'll notice reduced compaction efficiency, excessive vibration, unusual noise, or complete loss of vibrating plate movement.
