Multiquip 472219850 Dust Cover - OEM Replacement Part for Plate Compactors

The dust cover protects critical internal components of the MVH128GH reversible plate compactor's vibration case assembly from dirt, debris, and contaminants that can cause premature wear and failure. This protective cover seals the vibration case, which operates at 5,400 vibrations per minute and requires 350cc of SAE 10W-30 lubricant to function properly. Without an intact dust cover, abrasive particles can enter the vibration case, contaminating the oil and damaging bearings, eccentric weights, and other precision components.

During routine maintenance intervals or when servicing the belt drive system, V-belt assembly, or pulley components, inspect the dust cover for cracks, tears, or deterioration. Replace immediately if damage is found to prevent costly internal repairs. The dust cover works in conjunction with the O-ring seal (part 0507-10080) and is secured with bolts specified in the vibration case assembly diagram.
