The eccentric rotator is a critical component in the driven rotary shaft assembly that generates the high-frequency vibrations essential for soil compaction. This part converts engine power into the 5,400 vibrations per minute (90 Hz) that enable the plate compactor to effectively compact granular soils and asphalt. Each compactor requires two eccentric rotators working in tandem within the vibration case.

Located in the driven rotary shaft assembly (part position #18), this eccentric rotator operates in conjunction with bearing 6907C3 and is secured with socket head bolts.
