Multiquip 48336 Spider Assembly 6-Blade Right-Hand - OEM Replacement Part

The right-hand 6-blade spider assembly is the critical rotating hub that connects trowel arms to the hydraulic motor shaft on ride-on power trowels. This complete assembly includes bronze bushings with grease hole fittings on the spider hub, allowing proper lubrication and smooth operation of all six trowel arm mounting points. During operation, the spider assembly transfers hydraulic motor torque to the trowel arms while maintaining precise blade pitch control.

Installation requires proper use of catch chains during bolt removal, as the spider assembly may suddenly separate from the hydraulic motor shaft. Each trowel arm mounts to the spider hub via bronze bushings that must be carefully aligned with mounting slots. The assembly includes hex head bolts with Zerk grease fittings and jam nuts to lock trowel arms in place. After installation, all grease points (Zerk fittings) must be lubricated with premium Lithium 12-based grease conforming to NLGI Grade #2 consistency. The spider hub design allows for stabilizer strut attachment and accommodates the trowel arm return spring system.
