Multiquip 48337 Spider Assembly 6 Blade Left Hand - OEM Replacement Part

The left-hand spider assembly is the critical rotating hub that connects and controls the six trowel arms on ride-on power trowels. This assembly mounts directly to the hydraulic motor shaft and houses bronze bushings with grease hole fittings that allow the trowel arms to pivot for pitch control during concrete finishing operations.

This six-blade configuration includes the spider hub with bronze bushing inserts, hex head bolts with Zerk grease fittings and jam nuts for locking trowel arms, and attachment points for stabilizer struts. The assembly requires proper catch chain installation during service, as bolt removal can result in sudden separation from the hydraulic motor shaft. Regular maintenance includes lubricating all Zerk fittings with premium Lithium 12-based grease conforming to NLGI Grade #2 consistency. During trowel arm removal, bronze bushings may come out with the arm or remain in the spider hub and must be carefully handled to prevent damage.
