This right-hand rotating spider assembly with six blades is the critical component that transfers power from your power trowel's gearbox to the finishing blades, enabling proper concrete finishing operations. Designed for long-configuration applications, this assembly requires precise maintenance to ensure even blade contact across the concrete surface.

Proper spider alignment is essential for quality finishes. When installed, all adjustment bolts should barely make contact with the lower wear plate on the spider assembly. To verify correct alignment, place the machine on a flat steel plate and pitch the blades as flat as possible—all adjustment bolts should just touch the wear plate. If one bolt doesn't make contact, adjust the high bolts down to match the low one, or raise the low bolt accordingly. Individual blade pitch adjustments can be made by adjusting the bolt corresponding to each specific blade.
