The main frame harness serves as the central electrical distribution system for the MD80 ride-on trowel, routing power and control signals between the machine controller, fuse and relay box, pitch actuators, and frame-mounted components. This critical wiring assembly integrates multiple circuits including 12 AWG power distribution, pitch control wiring with DTP06-4S and DTP04-4P connectors, and connections to the foot pedal, seat switch, and hydraulic systems. The harness includes integral splices Z6 and Z7 for fused left and right pitch power distribution using 14 AWG red/orange and red/green wires respectively.

When the main frame harness fails, symptoms include loss of pitch control, intermittent electrical faults, non-responsive actuators, or complete system failure. This harness connects directly to connector P17 on the frame harness and P1 on the main harness assembly, with additional connections at P6 (DT06-12SA) for battery power distribution.
