The Extension Water Valve controls the flow of water to the sprinkler system on ride-on asphalt compaction rollers, enabling operators to wet the drum surface during paving operations. This valve works in conjunction with the gravity-feed spray bar system that prevents asphalt from adhering to the drum during compaction work.
