Multiquip 521691 Modified GX390 Engine - OEM Replacement Part

This modified GX390 gasoline engine powers the Multiquip EM12M series plaster and mortar mixers, delivering the torque and reliability needed for heavy-duty jobsite mixing applications. The engine features an air-cooled 4-stroke OHV design with a 25° inclined cylinder, horizontal shaft, and cast iron sleeve for extended durability. Rated at 11.7 HP (8.7 kW) at 3600 RPM with maximum net torque of 26.5 Nm at 2,500 RPM, this powerplant drives the mechanical clutch system that engages the paddle shaft for mixing up to 4-1/2 bags per batch in the 12 cubic foot drum.

This factory-modified engine includes digital CDI ignition with variable timing, recoil start, and a 1.61 gallon fuel tank for extended runtime. The engine requires 1.06 quarts of SAE 10W-30 oil (API SF or SG) and uses BPR6ES NGK spark plugs. The centrifugal flyweight speed control maintains consistent mixing performance under load. This complete engine assembly replaces worn or damaged powerplants on EM12M series mixers, restoring full mixing capacity and jobsite productivity.
