Multiquip 521958 Drum & Shaft Assembly - OEM Replacement Part for PRO12 Hydraulic Mixers

The drum and shaft assembly is the core mixing component of the PRO12 hydraulic plaster and mortar mixer, consisting of the 12 cubic foot (340 liter) capacity steel mixing drum and integrated paddle shaft system. This complete assembly houses the shaft seals with Zerk grease fittings at each end that require daily greasing with lithium-based EP grease, plus pillow block drum bearings on both ends of the mixing drum that also need daily lubrication. The paddle shaft rotates within the drum to mix materials with a batch capacity of 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 bags of plaster or mortar.

During operation, proper paddle blade adjustment is critical - blades should maintain correct clearance against drum side walls and end walls as shown in the adjustment diagrams. The assembly includes pivot points with Zerk fittings that lubricate the hydraulic dumping mechanism and must be greased at least twice weekly. The safety grill mounts to this assembly and must remain closed during operation to keep hands and objects out of the rotating drum. Always disconnect the spark plug wire before cleaning inside the drum and place the hydraulic paddle control lever in neutral before servicing.
